Perhaps the world's second worst crime is boredom. The first is being a bore.

Many people mistake quietness for boredom. Especially young people! If they're unstimulated for at least 10 minutes, they immediately assume that they're bored.
Yet it's very beneficial to allow yourself at least 15 minutes a day doing absolutely, positively nothing. A period of time where you don't have to answer to anybody, and they don't have to answer to you. It's like a mini-vacation for your psyche! Truth be told, it doesn't care for being overstimulated every minute of the day. Give it the rest it desires and, soon enough, you'll find yourself looking forward to these "boring" moments.
