For example, the severity of the injury, your condition, overall health and even unforeseen life changes can all impact how successful or unsuccessful a treatment is.
What is the Length of a Session?

Indeed, the results of massage therapy can vary greatly from person to person. Even if you are one of those that get your pain relieved right away, that is normally just temporary, and you should go a couple more times at least in order to make the relief longer lasting.

I find it really interesting that regular visits to a massage therapist can help alleviate depression! I struggle with that, especially in the winter, but it’s never severe enough that I can receive any formal treatment. I also have really tight back/shoulder/neck pain on a regular basis and usually wake up with headaches from neck and shoulder pain, so making a practice of this might be doubly beneficial. I’m going to have to try to give this kind of alternative treatment a go. Is there any specific type that is best for depression?

I think it’s so great that massages have so many benefits. I would get them if there wasn’t any benefits, I just think that they feel good. Although, I’m glad that they help out with pain relief. I feel like I just get aches and pains living a normal life, and I need relief from that.
