Interesting stuff, and great news for night owls, since early birds usually get all the praise and attention.
That being said, I still strongly believe that waking up early builds character and discipline and is just good for you in general. I’ve lived both the early bird and night owl lifestyle, and can definitely attest to feeling lazier due to waking up at 2 pm versus waking at 6 am. When you wake up early, you tend to feel like you’re ahead of the game and ready to conquer the day, whereas you wake up at 2 pm and feel like you just wasted your whole day (even though your day technically only just started since you’d probably go to bed around 5 am or so).
That’s just my experience anyway.
