You know me, so that doesn’t surprise you!
Oceana allows you to “adopt” a particular animal of your choice (polar bear, whale, seal, penguin, shark, sea turtle, dolphin… ). Depending upon your choice, you get an adoption certificate with a cookie cutter or a stuffed animal. It comes wrapped in a very nice box with a very beautiful sea-blue ribbon.
Can you imagine what beautiful Christmas gifts these adoption certificates, stuffed animals, and cookie cutters (including a great cookie recipe) would make? This is the sort of thing that touches an animal-lovers heart like nothing else: To know that you’re making a difference.
