Why do people believe in God?To get to heaven.Why do people give money to the church?.to help the church, to look better socially, and to feel better about themselves while also looking better (gaining status) in God’s eyes. What it all boils down to is that we do all of this stuff out of fear of going to hell for eternity. I’ve got a new maxim for life.LIVE FREE FROM ALL THE CHAINS THAT BIND YOU. KEEP YOUR MIND OPEN AND REMEMBER THAT KNOWLEDGE HAS A WAY OF OPENING EYES.TEAR DOWN THE YEARS OF PREPROGRAMMING YOU’VE BEEN FED, AND START LIVING LIFE THAT STARTS WITH THE PHRASE “I DON’T KNOW.” For these words are the first to true knowledge. Give up! If, and when you give up, give up to yourself, not God. For the power is within ourselves to change ourselves, our problems, and the world. We just have to listen and believe in ourself.God won’t do anything for you that you won’t do for yourself.
