Self Help Daily readers might not be “into” all the sports I watch, the History Channel, Agatha Christie, or the copious amounts of coffee and strawberry sundaes I consume. In fact, Self Help Daily’s well-read, growth-oriented readers might be more interested in…

So, a few days ago – after talking to my oldest daughter, Emily (she is an excellent, excellent, excellent – and lovely – sounding board, by the way), I decided to set up a separate Twitter account for Self Help Daily covering the second group of topics above. However, be warned…. I will be carrying cats, coffee, Agatha Christie, and assuredly the occasional Strawberry Sundae with me. It just wouldn’t feel like home without them.
After talking with Emily, I thought about one of my favorite quotes (quotes are an obsession, so if one is a favorite, know that it must be a doozie) – Thomas A. Edison said, “There is a better way to do it; find it.” I love that. It holds true for SO many areas of life – from adopting a healthier lifestyle to being more productive at work and from kicking bad habits to going about Twitter the right way.
If you follow my personal Twitter, @JoiTaniaSigers, I hope you will continue to do so. I’m certainly going to keep it as active as usual – I’m simply going to ALSO have the Self Help Daily Twitter: @self_helpdaily. Unfortunately “selfhelpdaily” (no underscores) was already taken by someone else (even though they haven’t used it for quite a few years).
I hope you’ll give me a follow (I will follow you back, it’s the Southern thing to do, after all). I am SO looking forward to all the things we can get into on Twitter!
Have a great Monday – I have a few book reviews coming up this week, so watch out for those!
