The Best Way to Prepare for Cisco 200-150 Exam – Practice Test from PrepAway

March 3, 2020 by Joi Leave a Comment

The companies tend to want to hire people who actually offer a unique set of skills that can be used to their advantage. Even if you are an IT graduate, you need to show your employers that you are interested in improving your skills. Luckily, there are a few ways to do this, and one of the most effective is through obtaining an IT certification. When you already have a job, it can be difficult for you to study and work at the same time. However, with the help of credentials things will really become much simpler.

If you are thinking about getting certified, you need to ensure that you are choosing the right certification vendor. This is because each of them has a different status in the market, and the employers tend to prefer one company to another. Speaking of some of the greatest vendors, we need to talk about Cisco. It is, as you know, one of the leading networking organizations in the world, and there are a lot of companies that are using its networking solutions and products. This is the reason why everyone is looking for the certified individuals who can work with Cisco technologies and ensure that the network is always up and running. If you go to the Cisco website, you will learn that it offers a number of certificates. Among them, one of the most popular is CCNA Data Center. If you want to obtainit, you will need to pass two separate exams, one is Web Link and the other is 200-155 DCICT. However, in this article, we are only going to focus on the first one. That is why let’s begin.

Important details to know about Cisco 200-150

If you are able to earn the CCNA Data Center certificate, it can really change your career in ways that are unimaginable. But to enjoy these advantages, you first need to try and pass Cisco 200-150. It isn’t impossible but it does require you to be a little serious and study properly. In this certification test, each candidate will be given 90 minutes to answer around 55 to 65 questions. This means that if you want to complete it on time, time management is going to play a very important role. The type of questions varies as you can get multiple choice, drag & drop, or even a simulation. 200-150 DCICN covers a variety of topics that are as follows:

  • Basic data center storage;
  • Basic data center networking concepts;
  • Advanced data center storage;
  • Advanced data center networking concepts;
  • Data center physical infrastructure.

You should also know that this Prepaway is only available in the English language, so be ready for this. To register for this certification test, you need to log in to the Pearson VUE platform.

Preparation recommendations for Cisco 200-150

If you make up your mind to passthe 200-150 DCICN exam, you will need to work hard and study properly. No matter which certification test you are taking, you need to treat it with respect, otherwise, you will find it very difficult to ace. In the case of this exam, the very first thing that you need to do is start looking for the proper study material. Since this is a Cisco test, there are a lot of resources that you can find online. However, you need to choose wisely because some of them maybe already irrelevant and may contain outdated information.

First of all, you may find useful those resources that Cisco offers to its learners. There are a lot of video courses, books, labs, practice tests, and mentor guides that you can get from the Cisco Learning Network Store or CiscoPress. Some of them require paying, while for others you need to log in to the official website. If you want to play it safe and you are okay with paying a little extra cash, you should consider buying the PrepAway study bundle for Cisco 200-150. This package will cost you just about $60, and it will give you access to over 34 training lectures and a study guide with 93 pages. Aside from this, you will also get access to loads of practice questions that you can use to your advantage. With their help, you can evaluate the knowledge that you have gained up until this point. If you think that there are still some grey areas, you can always go back and start studying again.

As we already mentioned, time management is going to play a very important role in Cisco 200-150. This is another situation where you can use practice tests, all you need to do is try and answer a set number of questions in a given time limit. Just keep doing this over and over again and you will eventually train your brain to do the same in the exam room.

There are 5 topics that you need to cover in Cisco 200-150 DCICN. That is why you need to create a proper schedule with the help of which you can devote the desired amount of time to each objective. Each of them is equally important, therefore, if you are unable to study even one of them properly, it will be difficult for you to answer certain questions in the actual test.

Conclusion

These were some of the main things that you need to know about Cisco 200-150. This is perhaps one of the most popular exams in the Cisco certification program, and passing it brings you a step closer to CCNA Data Center. One thing that you need to know about this test and its associated credential is that they are set to retire on February 23, 2020. However, if you have already started to prepare for this exam, you should try to take it because you will still get the Cisco certificate.

There is NO Age Limit on Learning!

December 29, 2017 by Joi Leave a Comment

by Brooke Faulkner

It is abundantly clear that striving to learn new things betters your life in numerous ways. Ideally, your whole life should be spent striving to learn something new every single day. Learning and wanting to enhance your intellect is a great thing for every human to aspire toward, but not everyone has the time to attend lectures on a college campus.

Technological developments have raised the bar in ways we can obtain information and learn just about anything we set our minds to. Nearly anyone can access the internet for its endless supply of information — some educational, some not. The trick is how you to make the technology work for you. Below are creative ways anyone, regardless of age, can keep a hold of their lifelong quest for knowledge.

Listen to an Audiobook on the Go

Audiobooks are a lifesaver for busy people who struggle to find the time to read. It’s not only great for travelers, but also for people who don’t want the responsibility of holding a book or don’t have the attention span required for reading. You can listen to an audiobook on the bus, in the bathtub, or while doing chores. It is a convenient method to soak up some information or finally get around to that classic novel that you’ve been putting off.

Cognitively, there is little difference between reading and listening to a book. The comprehension of information is the same, although there may be preferential reasons as to why you might like the physical presence of a book as opposed to an audiobook. Audiobooks are appropriate for all ages, so next time you’re taking the little one to the library, check out one for them as well as yourself.

Use an App to Learn a Language

Learning a second language presents the opportunity to become more in tune with the world around you and, in a lot of instances, is becoming a necessary skill to possess in our ever-integrating world. Learning a new language as a child will set you leagues ahead of other students and, as an adult, will give you a leg up in the workforce. Luckily, you can start learning a new language on your phone as soon as you download the app.

There are numerous apps to help you learn a language for free and help coach you through almost any language of your choosing. Quizzes, flashcards, and even talking amongst fluid speaking assistants will help you in practicing until you’ve mastered a new language — making it exponentially easier to master the next language.

Use the Internet for an Online College Course

The development of online college courses has eased stress and anxiety for every college student. Including the non-traditional student — who, after years or decades of a sabbatical, has finally decided they want to go back to school and finish up those last credits needed for a Master’s in Education. Or they may just have a curiosity or passion about a particular subject. Online classes have transformed the convenience and attainability of a college education. Online classes are also available for high schoolers looking to better prepare themselves for the college workload.

Through video conferencing, lots of document transferring, and emailing, you can uphold your responsibilities by fulfilling the syllabus requirements if you manage your time right and properly study for a collegiate course. Just make sure you meet the technical requirements of taking an online course, as they can require fast internet speeds and plenty of storage capacity.

Anyone can, and should, continue their life’s education whenever and however they can. The ways described above are just a few in which you can utilize technology to work to your advantage. No one should put off their desire to stimulate their mental curiosity because they don’t have time, or don’t live near a college campus. Options are available for you to maintain a lifetime of learning.

How Online Education Can Change Your Life in a Positive Way

February 7, 2017 by Joi Leave a Comment

Online Education

The most successful people in the world always keep learning and the internet has made this a much easier task. When you invest in your education and keep increasing your knowledge and develop your skills, the world seems like a different place because many more opportunities will come your way. Below are some of the main ways education can change your life in a positive way.

Online Education Improves Your Career Opportunities

A wide range of high quality, accredited courses are now provided from reputable colleges and universities such as Washington State University. Many of these courses entitle you to apply for senior roles once you graduate, which would have been a lot more difficult to do in the past. For example, when you earn your MBA online, an MBA program like this dramatically increases your earning potential.

You Become More Confident

Online education puts you in control of your life. You can literally enroll in any course, anywhere in the world. Once you complete one of these courses, it will give you the confidence required to advance in your career, change your career, work for yourself or become an expert in a certain topic.

You Increase Your Social Circle

When you study online, there’s a good chance you will meet new people and build relationships with individuals, which would be almost impossible to do in the past. Over time, you could build a huge network of online friends and contacts that could be extremely important in the future.

You Get More Opportunities in Life

Every time you complete an online course, it opens up new opportunities for you. More employers and companies than ever all around the world recognize the value of online qualifications. This means you are in a better position to travel and to create a better lifestyle for yourself and your family.

Online Education is Less Disruptive

Traditionally, when a student started a new course they had to make huge changes in their life. However, with an online course the disruption to your normal routine can be kept to a minimum.

You don’t have to relocate to a location close to your college or university, you don’t have to travel to and from lectures, and you can study at times that suit your lifestyle. This is extremely important if you live a hectic life and have other responsibilities such as a family and a day job.

It’s a Less Stressful Way to Learn

Some students prefer to learn at their own pace. However, this is not always possible when you are in a classroom full of students and your lecturer is explaining things too quickly or too slowly for your liking.

This is not a problem when you enroll in an online course. Instead, you can study in a way that you find comfortable. If you like to study and learn at a slow pace that’s fine, or if you want to graduate quickly, many courses allow you to finish a lot quicker.

The internet gives you a unique opportunity to learn new skills and increase your knowledge. You can benefit in many different ways, including the ways mentioned above.

If your only hurdle for pursuing an online education is a financial hurdle, there are even sources to help you pay for school!

Keys to a Career in Psychology

February 1, 2017 by Joi Leave a Comment

Online Education

If you are looking at psychology jobs you might feel that your goal, whether that’s to be a specialist in a busy, exciting hospital, or have your own bustling private practice is an almost unimaginably long way away.

Fortunately, though it will need a lot of hard work, getting a job as a qualified psychologist requires only a few foundation stones, that we’ll look at today.

Degree Courses

The most direct route to a career in psychology is to follow your A Level studies with a degree course in the subject. It’s important to research different universities before you make your choice: different institutions have varying reputations, not just overall between different subjects. You can find university rankings online, and also research into the student experience and find out if the university is close to a town that provides the nightlife you are interested in, has a sports team you want to join, or a good reputation for extracurricular theatre you want to get involved in.

It’s never too early to start thinking about this: Psychology is a BSc course that will require careful choice in you’re A Levels to make sure you have the qualifications the university wants in its students. Though these vary from institution to institution, there will be some common subjects that will give the best chance at getting onto the best course for you.

Bursaries and scholarships may also be available to help fund your education, so do your research and write to local institutions and councils as well just looking at the university website.

Conversion Course

If you’re approaching the study of psychology later in life, and don’t wish to commit another 3-4 year course of full time study, conversion courses are available at some institutions that can intensively teach the knowledge and skills you’ll need if you’re already qualified to degree level.

Work Experience

Whether you are looking at a degree course or your first jobs in psychology being able to demonstrate work experience is invaluable. It’s not easy to find work experience placements or internships directly in a psychologist’s office or clinic as there few of these positions and they are extremely sought after.

Thinking creatively can be useful here: volunteering with charities like Mind, which focus directly on mental health or with homeless charities like Shelter can get you valuable experience and also demonstrate your interest and commitment to the field.

5 Inspirational Careers You Must Consider

January 25, 2017 by Joi Leave a Comment

When it comes to choosing your life’s work, perhaps you want to do something that can make a difference in the lives of others. Some of us aren’t equipped to be rocket scientists who dream of colonizing life on other planets, but we do have a dream of making life better for the people we come in contact with on a day to day basis. We want to do something that will inspire others to make something of their own lives or perhaps even inspire them to do great things that will make a difference for the world going forward. Here are five inspirational careers you must consider.

1. Teaching in Any Subject

It takes a special person to be a teacher, in any subject and at any grade level. A teacher should always be an inspiration to his or her class and even more than that, a teacher should be the one who finds that rare student who needs encouragement to ‘go somewhere’ or ‘do something.’ Many are lost in the system, but an inspirational teacher will pull out the best in their students, winning more battles than those they lose.

This guide on how to become a teacher will get you on your way to making a difference in student’s lives.

2. Midwifery

One of the very best things about being a midwife is in the way in which they are there to deliver babies into this oftentimes cold and cruel world. A midwife is there for the entire birth process with mom and baby. There are a number of alternative birthing methods that are said to be less stressful on all involved and this, in itself, is an inspiration to the entire family – but mostly mom and baby.

3. Diagnostic Medical Sonography

So many times a patient goes in for ultrasound, fearing the worst. A doctor has ordered a series of tests, sometimes fearing cancer and other times seeking to find exactly why symptoms are present when there is no rational reason so far to be found. A bachelor of medical sonography degree puts you with that patient in those fearful moments and even though you can’t tell them what you are seeing on that diagnostic sonogram, you can ‘be there’ for them in their moments of panic. What an inspiration that is!

4. Social Work

Many times people with problems fall through the cracks of society. Sometimes it is due to extreme poverty and other times they are (or were) the victims of abuse. If you are looking to be an inspiration in the lives of others, working as a social worker can put you in a place at a time of their greatest need to help them continue on when all hope has failed them.

5. Musician

How many people over the course of history said they were led to excel or do great things because a musician acted as their muse? Few people aren’t inspired by music and if you really want to promote health and healing in a natural way, you can use music therapy to do just that.

Whether you choose to pursue an online medical sonography degree or work as a musician in a local club, your inspiration can inspire others to move forward in their own lives and that’s ‘paying it forward’ at its very best.
