Love this….Love this…Love this! The following is a true story – it happened recently at the University of Maryland.
They walked in tandem, each of the ninety-two students filing into the already crowded auditorium. With rich maroon gowns flowing and the traditional caps, they looked almost as grown up as they felt.
Dads swallowed hard behind broad smiles, and Moms freely brushed away tears.
This class would not pray during the commencements —– not by choice but because of a recent court ruling prohibiting it.
The principal and several students were careful to stay within the guidelines allowed by the ruling. They gave inspirational and challenging speeches, but no one mentioned divine guidance and no one asked for blessings on the graduates or their families.
The speeches were nice, but they were routine…… until the final speech received a standing ovation.
A solitary student walked proudly to the microphone. He stood still and silent for just a moment, and then, it happened. All 92 students, every single one of them, suddenly SNEEZED!!!!
The student on stage simply looked at the audience and said, ” GOD BLESS YOU, each and every one of you!” And he walked off stage…
The audience exploded into applause. The graduating class found a unique way to invoke God’s blessing on their future with or without the court’s approval.

I had heard this about the students and I commend them. Seems like we have been the only country in the world willing to have our religion taken away from us. However, I believe if you call it a “moment of silence” then we are graciously “allowed” to do what we wish, pray, “sneeze” and what ever follows. I am proud of the students! They represent what America should be all about, “Freedom”. Our government should stay out of our business. They’re not doing a good job running this country. Maybe they could if they didn’t try to put their noses in everything that we do. Thanks for the story. God Bless America!

I think it’s interesting how our government always wants us to sacrifice our rights & freedoms so we don’t offend people who have come to this country seeking the same rights & freedoms. If people are in a crowded place & don’t want to pray, they can just choose not to participate. If I were in a mosk at noon, I would not expect the men to NOT bow down & perform their rituals, would you?

The courts (and people behind the laws) drive me crazy. Why can’t they just live their lives as THEY want to and allow everyone else to do the same?! I stand in awe of people who are brave and bold enough to stand up for their own beliefs and refuse to let anyone else tell them what they can and cannot believe.
No doubt, the God I know rewards those who take such stands for Him!
