Step 2: Be More Optimistic
Optimism Affirmation. What I look for, I will find.
Optimism. Insist on seeing the bright side of everything in life. Always strive to see the “upside.” Remember, “He that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.” Be optimistic – believe that, in the end, good triumphs over evil and right outshines wrong.
Optimism Exercise. Dwell intently on the following thoughts:
- A smile disarms anger and discontentment.
- Believe that most people are, at heart, good.
- The best time to be happy is now!
- There is no evil, but thinking makes it so. The same can be said of fear, worry, stress, doubts, and anxiety.
