I am fascinated by many things in life – from lightning bugs to Saturn’s rings and a million-and-one things in between. Something that never fails to fascinate me isn’t something you can actually see – but, make no mistake about it – it makes its presence felt…. IRONY. I love and am always fascinated by irony.
Yesterday, I was having one of those days. No… really… one of those days. BOLD. I had a to do list a mile long of things I needed to get done in my web publishing business – fortunately, I work from home, so I’m able to attack my to do lists with never-ending coffee, countless glasses of iced tea, and all the cat head scratches I want to dole out.
Even with all that going for it, there can still be bad days and yesterday was shaping up to be a whopper. When your to do list is comprised of things that involve working online… BUT your internet connection is moving at a snail’s pace… it makes for a stressful morning. Add a few more headaches into the mix and it was the type of Monday all Mondays aspire to be.
Around noon, I kind of snapped myself out of it and thought, “Just because this day has started out kind of on the crummy side doesn’t mean it has to end the same way.” I took the Agatha Christie book I’m currently reading and a tall glass of iced tea into the front yard and sat under a shade tree. As Hercule Poirot and I used our “little gray cells” to solve the crime, one of our cats crawled into my lap, purring like he hadn’t a care in the world.
Within 15 minutes, neither one of us had a care in the world.
Okay, here’s where the irony came in. Last night, I got an e-mail asking if I’d like to share an infographic with my Self Help Daily readers – an infographic called, “How to Turn a Bad Day Around.” I’m delighted to share this infographic with you because bad days are like Mondays, themselves… they always come around, whether you want them to or not.
Enjoy the infographic and I hope you’re in the middle of an awesome Tuesday!

Being stuck inside all day in your home without direct exposure from the sun, and without connecting to the energy of nature, can actually made your bad day even worse. Even if you have all the things you want in your house like playing games in your gadgets, watching T.V, eat some foods etc.. It feels like your body want some exposure in nature or doing some activities outside hanging out with your friends it makes my day fell better.
