A Real Day Brightener

July 7, 2011 by Joi 3 Comments

Book links are usually affiliate links. This means I earn a small percentage when you click through and buy the book. This costs you nothing extra - it simply allows me to keep my cats in the lifestyle they're accustomed to.

Sometimes it’s really wonderful the way things work out. I’ve been feeling kind of overwhelmed the past few days – so much to do, yet the days refuse to cough up more than the typical 24 hours. I’ve put in support tickets asking for 48 hours, but I keep getting the same type of replies:

  • Do the best with what you have.
  • Work smarter, not harder.
  • Abraham Lincoln, Eleanor Roosevelt, Gandhi, and Booker T. Washington had the same number of hours in THEIR day as you.

Well, fine.

Today, amongst more hustle and bustle, I found a message from a week or so ago in one of my e-mails. It was shoved amongst some spam, so I’d missed it somehow.  At any rate, I found it at a good time. It seems Self Help Daily was nominated by a reader as the Most Positive Website for July.  Talk about a day brightener.  The thought that one of you thought enough of Self Help Daily to nominate it as a positive website makes me smile, in an ear to ear fashion.

I’d very much love if all of you would go HERE and vote for Self Help Daily.  It’ll just take a minute or two and it’ll keep that smile spreading from ear to ear for days.  Thanks!!!
